On Notice

Bloggers of the following Blogs, you are ON NOTICE:

You are all at risk of being PURGED from my Google Reader!

27B - you're prolific, but seriously: I don't care who the voting official is in San Diego.

Matt - Do more, post more. Step it up.

Joe McDonald - Do you even remember you have a blog?

Ben Lehman - Same problem. I want to hear about your games, but there's nothing to read!

Defense Tech - you haven't been the same since Noah left. I'm sorry.

Dancho - You tease us with exciting ideas, and there's no substance. You can do better.

Wil - I know, I know, "you're just this guy, right?", well, I don't want to hear about poker. Or your blogging software.

101 Cookbooks - "Baked Peas with Tarragon, Yogurt, and Pistachios"? Barf me a river. Find something that sounds YUMMY in those books.

You all have one week before you get THE PURGE.

(whew, looks like I made the cut... this time.)

Yeah, this time. You'd think with thirty of you, there'd be more posts, though.

Man am I glad I don't blog, this whole "'osphere" is way to competitive for me man. But I do have a question. You said you use Google reader. Is there anyway to speed up how often it "refreshes" or is it the fault of the sites i'm reading? I swear sometimes around 3pm I suddenly get 4 posts all from the same blog. (pop candy, I'm addicted).

Not that I've found, Davey.

I used to use the Sage extension for Firefox, which I liked in part because I could control that better, but then Google got their hooks in me. again.

So, if they don't step it up, will they be dead to you?

Can I be at the top of your list if I change my name to "ZDisco Mom Takes on the World"?

Let me just say, you don't want to be dead to Dave. He makes you laugh till your gut hurts (or you pee your pants or both), he makes out-of-this-world fancy drinks, homemade salsa, incredibly accomodating host, not to mention the BIG tv. You should be honored to be in his list, lame-ohs...No, you don't want to be dead to him...

Tona: They will be, unless content improves. Content is king.

Davey: Did it make you gag a little?

Kari: Can I be at the top of your list if I change my name to "ZDisco Mom Takes on the World"? Yes. But there's no way to be at the top of both my list and the one at lowercase numbers. Unless you use only special characters or numbers and david and I interpret their placement differently.

Also, the comment about why you don't want to be dead to me is sweet. Thanks.

re: my reverse-alphabetization scheme uses the order as set forth in ASCII, except that it is not case-sensitive.

I can't live without the fancy sodas. I'll tell the other 29 Marens to get on the stick.
"Get on the stick"? Where does that phrase come from?

dave said...

Maren, I totally realized after my above criticism that it isn't like you have 30 Marens that can just up and blog on something - OBVIOUSLY the tricky part is getting them all to agree on something before it can hit the web. Sorry for being so dense - I'll cut you some slack.
